25 Years Ago on this video’s production date, the Yemoja and Olokun essence of Moonday brought back this memory so strong that I produced it! What is the memory? Well, my house burned down on October 16, 1998. Sango took every material thing…except the family Bible.

In hindsight, so many lessons and spiritual signs returned with this memory, and now I share it with you! In the mood for some storytelling? Enjoy the snippet. You will have to beam up to 222.9 The Mothership’s Exclusive Orbit for the full story! Also, prepare to hear the audio version of this story on “PATAKI,” my 10AM CST Station on 222.9 The Mothership Internet Radio!

****HERE IS THE WRITTEN STORY.****

The Charred Bible

an iiiYansaje T. Muse Pataki (Sacred Story)

Iba Se Yemoja ati Olokun (Orisa Essence of Water, Meditation, Memory)

for this treasure from my sea of my memories.

This is a true story that happened 25 Years ago on this day.

Friday, October 16th, 1998.

The day vibrated on an 8….a sign of infinite possibility.

The moon was waning in Virgo.

It was the third decan of Libra Season.

Mandeville, Arkansas.

The land my family home was built on belonged to my paternal grandmother, Lourane.

My father had it cleared off in 1996 while we were still living in Dallas. In the two years we were there, I watched a single wide trailer home transform into a 5 bedroom house with 3 porches. It was the first time I saw a vision manifest, and I have my father to thank for that.

My maternal grandfather joined the ancestors a day or so before.

I left for school that rising as normal. I almost missed the bus because for some reason, I felt this urge to run back to my room and grab my journal. I had no idea that this would be the last time I would see my home again.

My second period class was at the high school, and in the hallway, my neighbor came to me in the hallway and told me my house was on fire….Everything else was a blur after that.

By 12 noon that day, my home was gone…burned to the ground. It burned up then down supernaturally fast. Sango (Orisa Spirit of Fire)had taken it all, yet spared every life…even the cats and dogs. It is still a mystery as to how the fire started…so I just leave that to Divine reason.

For some reason, when I saw the hollowed and blackened shell where my house was, my mind went straight to the journal I grabbed off of my dresser that rising. My book was meant to stay with me…hmmm. It was then that writing became even more significant to me, and I haven’t left my home without a journal since.

When the fire was extinguished, there was an old, oak wood end table in our living room. It had a cabinet underneath. It was badly charred, but not fully burned to ash, like the rest of the house.

Inside of it was our old, family Bible…full, whole, and in tact. A large, green Master Reference (not King James) edition. The house burned, the Bible remained.

1998 was a 9 year for me….and for my father. 9 years are years that Oya (Orisa Essence of Transformation) blows away things that no longer serve your higher being. All that is lost during 9 years hurt the ego and shake up the comfort zone. This is to clear physical and energetic space for the next level of spiritual growth, the next 9 year cycle….its funny. My innocence was shattered in that house. In hindsight, I wonder if Sango took this space because He, my grandmother Lourane, and the other Powers That Be were displeased at what went on within. It was an eerily comforting thought that I kept to myself for a while.

My mother, brother, father and I went to Backyard Burger for lunch after the smoke cleared.

We ate in an awkward silence.

We were in shock.

We were bewildered.

We were stewing in energy like that.

Out of the blue, my mother said, “Well, so much for whose turn it is to wash dishes!”

We all started laughing.

This memory, this experience, taught me how to manifest, lose, and rebuild from nothing but faith at a very young age. I was also beginning to learn about sacred objects, especially when The Goddess does something as bold as what She did with the Bible.

20 Years later, my mother gifted me with the family Bible as a gift for my Orisa Birthday, also in Autumn Equinox. It rests on my Egun (Ancestors of my Bloodline) altar to this day.

Thank you for allowing me to share this memory with you, and the lessons it brings! I manifest that it will inspire you to tap in to you the Yemoja/Olokun energy in YOU, and process the divine treasures of your memories…ESPECIALLY in the memories that you find hard to revisit!

Ase in Love,
