I manifest this finds you well. I want you all to meet another high priestess that is very dear to me, and it is an honor and pleasure in equal measure to present her to you, and to bring her on The Mothership’s airwaves! High Priestess Afiya Matthews and I met in Orisa dance at an Osun bembe. I could sense Yemonja’s essence on her as strongly as Oya is on me. We were/are a point where Leo’s sunrays meet the deep waters of Scorpio’s mystery. She is equally as passionate about the proper spiritual education and healing of the earth’s children in the ways of ancient tradition. As a plus, she brings wisdom from the perspective on how these traditions are practiced in other parts of the world. Here is a bit more about her.
High Priestess Afiya hails from the Twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. She is a spiritual healer who uses her experience from 20 years of study and practice to assist those who are needing guidance and spiritual ritual. She has a wise range of of offerings, from Christenings to spiritual walk retreats, divine washings and herbal healing. It is a personal mission of hers to care for others who see after others, while neglecting themselves. As a Spiritual Baptist, she was never tied down to one sacred energy. This allowed her to utilize all paths to assist those who need her. She carries the Orisa crowns of Yemonja and Ogun, a warrior of Ma Kali, and a Conjurer of Spirit.
